Misty Woods Inc. was established
in 1987 as a forestry consulting
corporation providing services to
timber owners in Central Virginia. A
multi-state project was also
completed when Misty Woods, Inc.
provided a timber sale review for
the Army Corp of Engineers. When the
owner became a full time consultant
for a national consulting firm in
1992, Misty Woods Inc. was closed.
After twelve years, Misty Woods was
activated as a real estate brokerage
and forestry consulting Limited
Liability Corporation. Over the past
five years, Misty Woods LLC has
handled more than 60 real estate
transactions totaling over $33
million..
Principal Broker
David C. Froggatt Jr., ACF, CF began
work in the Central Virginia area in
1967 as a professional forester
within the Forest Products
Industry. After working briefly as
an independent consultant, Dave
began work as a forestry consultant
for a national consulting firm
managing up to 220,000 acres for
Timber Investment Management
Organizations which had accumulated
timber investment grade land in
Virginia. As a part of his
management duties, Dave obtained his
real estate agent license and later
his brokerage license to handle the
occasional sales of the properties
he managed.
As principal broker for Misty Woods
LLC, Dave continues to list land for
sellers of rural timberland in
Virginia.
